Playing with ten men, Reading secured a 5-3 win after extra time in an exciting second-round contest held on Sunday. Wrexham presently occupies the second position in the League One standings, trailing Wycombe Wonderers by four points. Wycombe Wonderers also holds a game in hand. The team led by Phil Parkinson is slated to return to competitive play on Tuesday, hosting Barnsley, who are positioned sixth, at the Stok Racecourse.
