In an official statement, the club declared: “Work has been ongoing to clear up after Storm Darragh and we can confirm there is no risk to tomorrow’s match at home to Crewe Alex.” Phil Parkinson’s team advanced to the second round by finishing at the top of their group. Their progression was secured through victories against Wolves Under-21s and Salford City.
