Woman’s Death in East Kilbride Flat Leads to Charges, Family ‘Devastated’

The discovery of a deceased woman in an East Kilbride apartment has left her family “devastated.” Phoenix Spencer-Horn, aged 21, was found deceased at the Glen Lee residence on Monday afternoon. A 26-year-old male has been charged in connection with the death and is scheduled to appear before Hamilton Sheriff Court on Wednesday. Law enforcement officials have stated that personnel are still present in the vicinity, but they assure there is no broader threat to the community. Detective Chief Inspector Susie Cairns, from Lanarkshire CID, commented: “Phoenix’s family are obviously stunned and completely devastated by what has happened and we will continue to support them and those affected during this very distressing time.”
