A woman suffered severe injuries in a two-vehicle collision on the A38 in Devon. Devon and Cornwall Police reported that the incident, involving a grey Vauxhall Meriva and a cream Volvo Flat lorry, occurred around 15:00 GMT on Friday. The location was specified as the A38 in Kenn, near Exeter. A spokesperson for the force stated that the female driver of the Vauxhall, aged in her 60s, was transported to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. Her injuries were described as “life-changing.” Anyone with information concerning the crash, including dashcam footage of the event, has been requested to contact the investigating officers. National Highways confirmed that the westbound section of the road was closed until 00:15 on Saturday while emergency services attended to the situation.
