A woman who sustained severe injuries in a two-vehicle collision in rural Norfolk has died while receiving hospital treatment. Norfolk Police reported that the crash, which involved a blue Suzuki Swift and a black Volvo, took place on Tuesday at 10:38 GMT Norfolk. The location was Fakenham Road, near its junction with Gorgate Drive in Beetley, an area close to Dereham. The driver of the Suzuki, identified as a woman in her 60s, was initially admitted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious injuries. She was later transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where she passed away on Wednesday, police confirmed. The occupants of the Volvo did not require medical attention at a hospital. The police force has urged any witnesses or individuals with dashcam footage from the vicinity before the incident to make contact.
