According to Northumbria Police, a dog that had escaped from a residence initiated an attack on another dog, resulting in “serious injuries”. Police reported that the 57-year-old woman incurred a broken hand during her attempt to separate the two animals. Authorities have taken possession of the dog, with the consent of its owner.
