Law enforcement officials have apprehended a woman on suspicion of human trafficking, following a series of raids conducted in connection with an ongoing modern slavery inquiry. The raids targeted a residence located on Dowlers Hill Crescent in Redditch, Worcestershire, along with a Thai massage establishment situated on Market Place and a second one in Cheltenham. According to West Mercia Police, the inquiry stems from a recent occurrence where a “vulnerable female” was discovered at a massage parlour within Redditch. Sgt David Roberts stated: “We arrested a woman in her 40s on suspicion of human trafficking and money laundering who has since been bailed pending further enquiries.” From the property on Dowlers Hill Crescent, officers confiscated items including mobile phones, invoices, and a safe. Sgt Roberts further commented: “The warrants show we take concerns over modern day slavery seriously and will always act upon concerns around criminal exploitation.” Post navigation HGV Driver Imprisoned Following Fatal Collision with Pedestrian Man in 80s Seriously Injured After Car Collides with Tree in Devon
