Two police officers from Wolverhampton have adopted a pair of kittens that were found abandoned in a box. The kittens were discovered in a hedge in Wednesfied approximately a week ago. Following a veterinary check-up, they were given the all-clear and have since been named Jessica and Pumpkin. West Midlands Police stated that PCs Pete McKinnon and Ross Brant offered to become their new “paw-rents” and provide them with new homes. Wolverhampton city centre inspector Sophie Clement commented that the pair had shown hteir caring side and praised their great “cat-ittude”.
