Police have appealed for witnesses after a vehicle left a road, resulting in one man’s death and injuries to three others. Essex Police stated that the four individuals were in a BMW which had been traveling from Cock Clarks towards Cold Norton at approximately 14:30 GMT on Sunday, when the car veered off Hackmans Lane. A 38-year-old man died at the scene, and three other occupants were transported to the hospital, one of whom sustained serious injuries. Authorities are seeking to speak with the driver of a small, dark-coloured Mini-type vehicle, believed to be an older woman, whom they described as a key witness to the incident. The road was closed for several hours while investigative and recovery operations were conducted. The force has requested that anyone else who may have observed the incident, or who possesses dash cam footage from the area at that time, make contact.
