The Metropolitan Police have reported that a man is in critical condition at a hospital, receiving treatment for a heart attack, following an altercation on Westminster Bridge. He was transported to the hospital by the London Ambulance Service and the air ambulance after emergency services received a call around 10:45 GMT. While initial suspicions suggested he had been stabbed, the Met Police clarified that subsequent investigations disproved this, and officers are now examining the circumstances that led to his cardiac arrest. The Met also stated that three individuals have been apprehended on suspicion of attempted murder, with an additional person arrested for affray. Two of the arrested individuals were hospitalized due to head injuries. The police force has appealed to the public for any relevant footage, including CCTV, mobile phone, or dashcam recordings, to assist their investigation. They indicated that officers are “particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident.” Westminster Bridge, which had been closed for several hours during the investigative process, has since been reopened to traffic.
