Watford’s manager, Tom Cleverley, has announced that midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru’s recovery from a knee injury has encountered a setback. Dele-Bashiru has not featured in a match since October 19, when Watford suffered a 3-0 defeat against Luton. Cleverley conveyed to BBC Three Counties Radio, “Kevin Keben and Angelo Ogbonna are still out, and Tom Dele’s suffered a setback in his rehab, so that’s this week’s bad news.” Despite the injury concerns, Watford is preparing to host QPR on Saturday, currently holding fifth place in the Championship table after securing two victories in their last three league encounters. The Watford head coach also provided some positive injury updates this week. “Daniel Jebbison is back in training [on Friday], and I’m expecting him to come through that and be available for the weekend,” Cleverley stated. Forward Jebbison was absent from last Friday’s draw at Plymouth and Tuesday’s win over Bristol City, having been sidelined by what Cleverley described as “a niggle” injury.
