Authorities are searching for a lorry driver who faces a charge of causing death by dangerous driving, following his failure to appear in court. Serhii Serheiev, identified as a Russian national, was scheduled to attend Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday. The 64-year-old is charged in connection with the fatality of motorcyclist David Martin Ingram, which occurred on the A1(M) southbound on 15 June 2022. Mr. Ingram, aged 57, succumbed to his injuries at the site of the collision, located between junctions 36 (Warmsworth) and 37 (Marr). His Honda VFR 800 motorbike collided with a Heavy Goods Vehicle operated by Mr. Serheiev, who was apprehended at the scene and initially detained. South Yorkshire Police confirmed that an arrest warrant has been issued for Mr. Serheiev.
