A car struck two individuals after mounting a pavement and colliding within a pedestrian zone located in Glasgow’s west end. Emergency services were summoned to Byres Road at Vinicombe Street around 11:30, and police subsequently cordoned off the area for several hours before it was reopened to the public at approximately 15:00. A seating arrangement positioned adjacent to a Christmas tree near the Hillhead Bookclub bar incurred substantial damage. However, no injuries were reported that necessitated hospital treatment. The automobile involved in the incident has since been removed, and a woman has been formally charged with a road traffic offence.
