A man suffered serious injuries in a collision involving a van and a tractor on the A30 in Cornwall. Devon and Cornwall Police reported that the incident, which involved a grey Ford Tourneo van and a tractor with a trailer, occurred on the eastbound carriageway at Tolvaddon at approximately 20:40 GMT on Monday. Authorities confirmed that the male van driver “sustained serious injuries” and was transported to a hospital in Plymouth. National Highways informed motorists that the carriageway remained shut on Tuesday morning as police conducted an investigation into the incident and arranged for vehicle recovery. The agency also stated that a diversion route had been established, but recommended that drivers avoid the vicinity by postponing their travel plans if feasible. Police are appealing for witnesses and individuals possessing dashcam footage to provide assistance.
