Two teenagers sustained serious injuries following a collision between a car and an ambulance. Cheshire Police were alerted to the incident at approximately 17:15 GMT on Saturday. The crash occurred on Tottys Hall Way, Crewe, near Leighton Hospital, involving a Ford Fiesta and an ambulance that was engaged in a non-emergency patient transport. The 18-year-old male driver of the Fiesta, who is from Sandbach, and a 19-year-old male passenger from Winsford, are both currently receiving hospital treatment. Two additional passengers from the Fiesta also suffered injuries in the crash. The patient inside the ambulance sustained minor injuries. Cheshire Police confirmed that inquiries into the collision are ongoing.
