Two individuals have appeared in court following a firearms incident in a Doncaster suburb. South Yorkshire Police stated that firearms officers were deployed on Sunday to Hawthorne Grove, Bentley, after reports of weapons being discharged, with no injuries reported. The men, aged 24 and 21, have been charged with arson with intent to endanger life and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. The pair, who reside in the Scawsby and Balby areas of Doncaster, were remanded in custody at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday. They are scheduled to appear next at Sheffield Crown Court on 24 January.
