A man and a woman were taken into custody on Saturday in York’s Clifton area, facing suspicion of money laundering and drug offences, following police searches conducted at multiple properties. North Yorkshire Police confirmed that the individuals apprehended are in their 40s. During the operation, which was described as one of “several” drug warrant operations in the vicinity, officers confiscated a substantial quantity of cash and class B drugs from the premises. Sgt Stuart Henderson commented, stating: “People who live and work in Clifton are very clear that drug dealers aren’t welcome there, and I’d like to thank the community for working with us.” Post navigation Suspected Stabbing in Eastbourne Results in Hospitalization Martin McDonagh Sentenced to 22 Years for Violent Crime Spree
