Derbyshire Police officers carried out a drugs raid at an address in Curbar Curve, Inkersall, near Chesterfield, on Monday morning, resulting in two arrests. The force indicated that officers proceeded to the location “acting on intelligence” they had received. In addition, the fire service and paramedics were present at the location, near the intersections of McMahon Avenue and Kinder Road. This attendance was a precautionary measure due to “concerns around substances,” according to the police force. The Staveley Safer Neighbourhood Team confirmed that the two individuals were taken into custody on suspicion of conspiracy to supply drugs. The force further stated that there is no perceived danger to individuals beyond the specific address that was searched, and no other residences are being evacuated.
