A collision involving two heavy goods vehicles on a primary route in Lincolnshire has resulted in the deaths of two men. Lincolnshire Police reported that the incident, involving a Volvo and a Scania lorry, occurred around 09:30 GMT close to the Snitterby junction on the A15, situated north of Caenby Corner. Authorities further confirmed that one of the deceased individuals resided in the Barnsley area of South Yorkshire, while the other was from Cleethorpes in north-east Lincolnshire. The affected road remains inaccessible, and law enforcement officials have issued an appeal for any witnesses or individuals possessing dashcam footage of the incident to get in touch with the police. Initially, the police force had indicated the involvement of a car; however, they have since clarified that the incident exclusively involved the two lorries. In a statement, Lincolnshire Police confirmed: “Officers attended following the collision near the Snitterby junction, which involved a Volvo lorry and a Scania lorry.” The statement added: “Sadly, the drivers of both lorries were pronounced dead at the scene.”
