Following her sudden passing, Chloe Ferris, who died early Sunday at a Belfast nightclub, has been remembered in tributes as “bubbly, bright and beautiful.” Emergency services were dispatched to Lux nightclub, located in the city centre, around 02:20 GMT, responding to reports of two women losing consciousness. Ms. Ferris, aged in her 20s, was deceased upon the arrival of police officers. The second woman who became unconscious at the nightclub was transported to a hospital for ongoing treatment. A published death notice for Ms. Ferris characterized her as a “beloved daughter” and a “much loved” sister, aunt, niece, and cousin. The notice further stated that she was a member of the “Sister Squad” and a friend to numerous individuals. Ms. Ferris was undergoing training at Enhance Belfast, which is a beauty training academy. In west Belfast, Ms. Ferris had previously attended St Clare’s Primary School. The school released a statement indicating that she consistently displayed a smile and would remain in their memories. “Chloe is fondly remembered by her teachers… as a warm, positive and bubbly girl,” the statement read. Additionally, the school remarked on Ms. Ferris having “shone on stage” during a production of Grease. In response to the school’s Facebook tribute, a mourner commented: “I had the privilege to teach Chloe.
