Cancellations and delays affected train services following an incident where a woman using a mobility scooter fell from a platform. Greater Anglia stated that the woman did not sustain serious injuries in the occurrence, which took place at approximately 15:30 GMT at Thetford station in Norfolk. Although no trains were approaching at the moment of the fall, the rail operator confirmed that all services were paused to facilitate the retrieval of the individual and their mobility scooter. The railway line was subsequently reopened around 17:00. The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust reported dispatching one ambulance and one paramedic car, and the patient was transported to a hospital for additional evaluation.
