Trailfinders Women, currently competing in their second season in Premiership Women’s Rugby, have announced the signing of United States prop Alivia Leatherman. The 22-year-old earned her first international cap for her country against Italy in last year’s WXV 2 tournament and has since accumulated five caps. Leatherman is slated to make her debut against Leicester, having been named among the substitutes for Sunday’s Premiership Women’s Rugby match. She will play alongside United States captain Kate Zackary at the west London club, which is situated in Ealing. Head coach Barney Maddison shared his thoughts on the new signing with the club website, stating, “Alivia’s potential is massive and we hope within the environment we can help her reach that. She’s fitted in really well and I’m really looking forward to seeing her play.”
