Trading standards dog Griff participated in operations in Wolverhampton as retail establishments were inspected for illicit vapes and tobacco products. West Midlands Police reported that on Monday, law enforcement officers confiscated 217 vapes and substantial quantities of illegal cigarettes from a single shop in Wednesfield. Officers further stated on Facebook that Griff additionally detected several amounts of cannabis and prescription medications at a separate store. These inspections constituted a component of a week-long program initiated by the force, which concentrated on enhancing awareness regarding anti-social conduct.
