Law enforcement has incarcerated three individuals who were apprehended during the midst of a transaction involving cocaine valued at £10 million. Their arrest occurred on 10 April this year, at their meeting point on Allman Road in Sutton Coldfield. On Friday, all three received prison sentences at Birmingham Crown Court, having pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply a Class A drug. Mahamoud, 29, from West Drayton, Greater London, was sentenced to seven years and six months in prison. Staffordshire Police reported that Vorster was observed standing beside a car, with Holt in the driver’s seat, when Mahamoud exited a van and approached Vorster to converse. Subsequently, Mahamoud retrieved a black holdall bag from the van’s boot and transferred it to the car’s boot. At that point, officers from the regional crime unit of the force intervened, apprehending all three individuals during the ongoing transaction. Inside the holdall bag that Mahamoud had been transporting, authorities discovered 21kg blocks of cocaine, estimated to have a street value reaching £2.1 million. The van also contained three additional holdall bags, alongside two other bags, which held 81kg blocks of cocaine, with an approximate value of £8.1 million. The force further stated that the drugs’ estimated wholesale value was thought to range from £2.3 million to £3.5 million, with a potential street value of up to £10.2 million.
