Three men have entered guilty pleas to manslaughter following the death of a 46-year-old individual in Lincoln. Jason Frow, 31, of Frank Swaby Court, Lincoln; Louis Giles, 33, of Blackfriars Court, Lincoln; and Jordan Hartley, 32, of Ash Grove, North Hykeham, each admitted to the unlawful killing of Marc Glasscoe, which occurred on 16 June this year. Initially, the men were scheduled to face a murder trial at Lincoln Crown Court. However, prosecutors confirmed that the guilty pleas for manslaughter were accepted following discussions with Mr Glasscoe’s family. All three individuals have been remanded into custody pending their sentencing, which will occur at a subsequent date. According to Prosecutor Michael Duck KC, Frow and Giles submitted their guilty pleas based on their presence at the incident location in Frank Swaby Court, while asserting they did not engage in any physical aggression against Mr Glasscoe. Mr Duck further stated that Hartley’s guilty plea was entered on the premise that he struck Mr Glasscoe once and subsequently threw him to the ground. Previously, Lincolnshire Police reported that their force control room received a communication from Lincoln County Hospital on the evening of 14 June, indicating that a male individual had been admitted with severe injuries to both his body and head. The police force confirmed that Mr Glasscoe passed away at 17:10 BST on 16 June. Judge Simon Hirst remarked: “All of you know a custodial sentence awaits you, the issue is how long that will be.” Post navigation Suspect Apprehended in Hastings Following Report of Rape and Forced Entry Individuals Bailed Following Injury to Infant in Suspected XL Bully Incident
