Three individuals have been granted bail following a fatal house explosion. The incident, which occurred on 16 October in Violet Close, Benwell, Newcastle, resulted in the deaths of seven-year-old Archie York and 35-year-old Jason Laws. Northumbria Police stated that a man in his 50s and two men in their 30s were apprehended on Wednesday. They were arrested on suspicion of two counts of manslaughter and the production of cannabis. Officers subsequently confirmed that all three have been released on bail, pending further investigative work. The explosion resulted in the displacement of more than 120 individuals from their residences. Police appealed to the public to refrain from speculation, both online and within the community.
