Three individuals have been formally charged with forced marriage. West Midlands Police reported that two women, aged 53 and 36, along with a 53-year-old man, were apprehended in Birmingham on Thursday. They were subsequently charged with the offence. The three individuals, whose names are being withheld to safeguard the identity of the alleged victim, made an appearance at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday. During the hearing, their request for bail was denied, and they were ordered to remain in custody pending their subsequent court appearance.
