Authorities have filed charges against a third individual in relation to the event where Stonehenge was covered with orange powder during a demonstration by Just Stop Oil. Luke Watson, aged 35, from Manuden, located near Stansted Airport in Essex, faces one charge of destroying or damaging an ancient monument and another charge of causing a public nuisance. This occurrence took place on June 19, when activists from the organization conducted a protest at the historic monument. According to police statements, Mr. Watson is scheduled to appear before Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on December 13. Subsequent to the protest, English Heritage reported that specialists had promptly cleared the orange powder from the monument’s stones.
