Gloucestershire Police stated that the fish were removed from a residence in Longlevens, Gloucester, on 26 November. Investigators are urging individuals who might have observed any suspicious activity in the vicinity, or who have encountered or been presented with koi carp for purchase, to get in touch with them. Under suitable conditions, koi carp possess the ability to live for over 30 years and attain a length exceeding one metre. Highly valued specimens of these fish can command prices reaching thousands of pounds.
