Temporary traffic signals have been deployed as law enforcement conducts additional inquiries on a brief segment of the A47, following the discovery of a body. An individual, a man in his 20s, was located deceased by the roadside near King’s Lynn on 2 December at approximately 09:20 GMT. He was confirmed dead at the location. Norfolk Police announced that to “ensure the safety of officers,” temporary lights would be operational on the eastbound carriageway on Sunday, specifically between the Pullover roundabout and the Shoreboat roundabout, until 16:00 GMT. A man in his 60s from Reading, Berkshire, who was apprehended on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, failing to stop, and failing to report a collision, has been released on bail until March. Initial findings from a post-mortem examination indicate that the man’s death resulted from a head injury. Norfolk Police expressed an apology for any delays to traffic flow caused by the signal implementation.
