Provisional measures have been implemented in a Nottinghamshire town due to concerns regarding anti-social conduct. Law enforcement authorities enacted a dispersal order in Arnold, which became effective for a 48-hour period starting at 19:00 GMT on Wednesday. This action follows Nottinghamshire Police’s statement that it had received reports of “young people behaving in an anti-social manner in recent days,” with several incidents currently under investigation. The directive is intended to encompass the town centre and adjacent park areas, aiming to address groups “perceived as causing a nuisance or likely to cause nuisance,” according to the force. This order grants officers increased authority to direct individuals to leave designated areas.
