A teenage boy sustained “very serious head injuries” following a collision between an electric bike and a car. The incident occurred just after 13:00 GMT on Sunday at the intersection of Lombard Street and Sherbrooke Avenue in Leeds. The 16-year-old e-bike operator was still hospitalized on Monday, according to West Yorkshire Police. The male driver of an Audi Q7 was apprehended on suspicion of drug driving, but has subsequently been released while investigations continue. Authorities have appealed for witnesses to the collision to come forward.
