A 16-year-old male has been taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident where a man suffered “serious knife injuries” during a fight. Police were summoned to St Ann’s Way in St Ann’s, Nottingham, around 23:00 GMT on Sunday, after receiving reports of an altercation involving two individuals. A man in his 30s was transported to a hospital, where he is still undergoing treatment for “serious and unpleasant injuries,” according to Nottinghamshire Police. The force further confirmed that officers arrested the suspect on Tuesday. Detective Chief Inspector Claire Gould indicated that the confrontation is considered an isolated event “with no wider risk to the public,” but also mentioned that patrols have been increased in the vicinity.
