Suspected Gas Leak Prompts Evacuation of Two Jersey Buildings

Reports of a gas leak in Jersey have led to the evacuation of two buildings, according to firefighters. Jersey Fire and Rescue announced the closure of a portion of La Grande Route de Trinité, located north of St Helier. According to firefighters, honorary police are managing traffic diversions. These diversions are in effect between La Rue de Mon Sejour, located south of the Sir Francis Cook Gallery, and Rue de la Godillerie, near the Lyndale Sports turning. The fire service advised certain residents in the vicinity to remain inside and seal their windows. Furthermore, the public was urged to avoid the area entirely.
