An individual has appeared before a court on driving-related charges following an incident in Bradford where a police officer was struck by a vehicle. West Yorkshire Police reported that the officer was hit in the Girlington district of the city on Monday. Zain Iqbal, 28, from Leeds, faces charges of attempted wounding, dangerous driving, and failing to stop, and made an appearance at Bradford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday. Mr. Iqbal, whose address is Ridgeway, Roundhay, was ordered to be held in custody and is scheduled to appear next at Bradford Crown Court on 11 December.
