Law enforcement officials have reported the theft of a trailer containing surfboards from a coastal area near Bude. Devon and Cornwall Police stated that a blue and white OA Surf Club trailer, which held 34 boards, was taken from the Widemouth Beach car park sometime between 16:30 GMT on Friday 6 December and 11:00 on Saturday 7 December. Officers estimated the collective value of the surfboards to be approximately £15,000. Authorities stated they were “keen to hear from anyone who may have bought a trailer or surfboard similar to in the attached photograph in recent days”. Law enforcement personnel appealed for individuals possessing CCTV or doorbell footage, or those who observed unusual activity in the vicinity during the period of the incident, to come forward.
