Stoke-on-Trent has launched new bus services with the aim of enhancing the city’s transportation network. Commencing next Monday, a new bus route will operate between Tunstall and Hanley, alongside increased frequencies on current services, which now include evening and Sunday journeys. These initiatives are components of Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s bus service enhancement scheme, which received £31.6 million in funding from the Department for Transport (DfT). Councillor Finlay Gordon-McCusker stated that enhancing the city’s transport infrastructure is a “key priority” for the council.
