South Belfast Property Incident Investigated as Hate Crime

An incident at a property located in south Belfast is being classified by police as a racially-motivated hate crime. Multiple windows at the house on City Way were broken with stones shortly before 09:30 on Friday. The PSNI has issued an appeal for information. A spokesperson stated, “There is no place for this kind of behaviour in our society. It is the responsibility of each and every one of us to ensure that we live in a society where diversity is respected and people feel safe.”
