Six Individuals Jailed for County Lines Drug Conspiracy in Yorkshire

An organized crime group, consisting of six individuals, has received prison sentences for their involvement in a county lines drug operation. This gang transported Class A narcotics, specifically heroin and crack cocaine, from Leeds to Scarborough, a coastal town in North Yorkshire. The illicit activities occurred between September and December 2019, with Cameron Lyn, 33, and Benjamin Conway, 32, identified as the leaders of the group. According to West Yorkshire Police, the illegal substances were procured from Damon Tremble, 47, who is based in Leeds. These drugs were subsequently distributed and sold by other individuals within Scarborough. The sentencing of Lyn, Conway, and Tremble took place at Leeds Crown Court on 5 November, where they were joined by Kyah Dalby, 28, Roy Fogarty, 33, and Ethan McCorrie, 27, in receiving their jail terms. Each of the six defendants had previously pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs during an earlier court proceeding. Cameron Lyn, residing on Easterly Road, Gipton, received a sentence of 11 years and eight months imprisonment. Damon Tremble, whose address is Blenheim View, Leeds, was sentenced to seven years. Benjamin Conway, of Clyde Chase, Leeds, was given a six-year sentence, which is to run consecutively with a separate seven-year sentence he received for unrelated drug offenses at Bradford Crown Court. Kyah Dalby, listed as being from HMP Humber, was sentenced to five years in prison. Roy Fogarty, of Leicester Square, Manston, Leeds, received a four-year and six-month sentence, and Ethan McCorrie, of Colton Road, Armley, Leeds, was handed a three-year jail term. Detective Inspector Kevin Daly, representing the police force, commented on the case, stating: “This was a significant drug supply operation which was moving high quantities of Class A drugs to Scarborough from Leeds.“I’m pleased that the seriousness of their illegal activities has been reflected in the lengthy sentences handed down.”
