Firefighters have responded to a substantial fire at a disused social club located in Sheffield. South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue confirmed that five fire appliances were dispatched to the unoccupied Manor Social Club on City Road at approximately 18:20 GMT on Sunday. By Monday morning, one engine remained on site, and the road continued to be closed. No injuries were reported; however, the fire service advised residents in the vicinity to keep windows and doors shut due to the considerable volume of smoke. The BBC encouraged its audience to listen to highlights from South Yorkshire via BBC Sounds, catch up with the latest episode of Look North, or submit potential news stories for coverage.
