Sheffield United midfielder Callum O’Hare scored his first goal of the season with a sliding effort during the team’s 3-0 victory against Oxford United. He expressed his hope that this goal marks the commencement of a productive scoring period for him. In an interview with BBC Radio Sheffield, O’Hare stated, “We’ve been getting the results, but personally, obviously, I want to score more. Now I’ve got one; I can just kick on and hopefully keep scoring.” The Blades’ assured performance was highlighted by two assists from Gustavo Hamer, who set up goals for Jesuran Rak-Sakyi and Tyrese Campbell. Notably, Campbell had previously found the net five times in his last six league appearances. O’Hare further commented, “We’ve got a top team, top coaching staff and manager, and then the fans drive us on so you can’t really ask for much more, and it’s obviously working. When we play here, it kind of feels like a fortress so when we come here, you’re excited, you’re ready to go, and we’ve got to keep it going.”
