The public is advised that a limited timeframe remains to visit certain sites operated by Guernsey Museums prior to their winter closure. According to the States of Guernsey, Fort Grey, the German Naval Signals Headquarters, and Castle Cornet are scheduled to cease operations on Sunday for the winter season, with plans to resume towards the end of spring. The States further noted that various activities have been organized at each museum location for the upcoming half-term break, preceding these closures. Helen Glencross, who serves as the States’ head of heritage services, commented that 2024 has proven to be a “great year” for these sites. Guernsey Museum, however, will continue to operate until the conclusion of the current year.
