Sark’s government announced that the results of the general election, which occurred on Wednesday, remained “no change” following a recount. The recount procedure took place on Thursday at 18:00 GMT, confirming the definitive outcome for the nine newly elected members of the Chief Pleas. Conseiller-elect Michael Locke secured the highest number of votes in the election, totaling 179. The official results indicated that 240 ballot papers were issued, with four papers being spoiled, and the overall voter turnout was 66%.
