Ross County manager Don Cowie stated that the team’s performance at home instills “real belief” in the players, as they aim to provide a robust comeback following their uninspired 3-0 loss to Dundee United. This defeat, occurring before the international break, ended County’s three-match unbeaten streak and positioned them in eighth place, four points ahead of last-place Hibs. Motherwell is scheduled to visit Dingwall on Saturday, a venue where the Staggies have only been defeated this season by the league’s top two clubs, Celtic and Aberdeen. Manager Cowie remarked, “Our performance levels at home have been really strong, there’s a real belief here among the group.” He elaborated, “There’s real evidence for the group to look back on, it gives them confidence when they play here, they look back at what they’ve achieved and the results that they’ve had and that grows.” Cowie further emphasized, “I say it all the time, consistency is key. We had three games prior to Dundee United where we were really consistent, really solid, picked up five points in three games.” He acknowledged the recent setback, stating, “Then we let ourselves down by losing 3-0 away to Dundee United, but one thing about this group is they’ve responded really well when they’ve faced adversity after a poor result and this is an opportunity to do that again.” Cowie expressed readiness for a challenging encounter against Motherwell, managed by former County boss Stuart Kettlewell. Motherwell currently holds fifth place in the league and is aiming for its third consecutive away victory. He further commented, “We’re playing against a really good team, who’ve had a fantastic season so far.” Cowie continued, “They got to the League Cup semi-final, they’re sitting in the top half of the table for a reason. They’ve been really consistent and we’re expecting a really tough challenge.” Post navigation Hearts Forward Musa Drammeh’s Initial Concerns and Current Optimism West Ham and Everton Conclude Match in Goalless Draw; Audience Feedback Requested
