Robert Huth Shares Mixed Outlook on Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Leicester Debut

Robert Huth, a former defender for Leicester, discussed Ruud van Nistelrooy with BBC Radio 5 Live in advance of Van Nistelrooy’s initial match as manager. Huth expressed, “I’m feeling positive, but unsure what is going to happen at the same time.” He elaborated on the uncertainty surrounding Van Nistelrooy’s tactical approach, stating, “He could play really defensively, he could play really offensively, no one really knows.” Huth also highlighted Leicester’s propensity for conceding goals as a major challenge, noting, “The one big thing for Leicester is the amount of goals they ship. I think that will be a real concern for him and something for him to stop.” Addressing the prospect of Jamie Vardy playing under the Dutch manager, Huth remarked, “It’s always great when you have a manager who played in the same position as you. They should be able to have a few conversations and help Vardy score a few more goals.”
