Multiple roadways have been shut down to facilitate the clearing of trees felled or damaged by strong winds, an operation initiated as part of the recovery efforts after Storm Darragh. According to the Department of Infrastructure, a segment of the TT course is scheduled for a two-phase closure, with the initial phase affecting the stretch from Ballig to Cronk-y-Voddy until 12:00 GMT. The subsequent closure will encompass the area extending from Ballacraine to Ballig Bridge, remaining in effect until 14:00. Additionally, urgent road closures have been implemented on Colby Glen Road, effective until 15:30, on Ballachrink Road in East Baldwin until 16:00, and along a segment connecting Laxey and Baldrine. The department further stated that temporary two-way traffic signals would be operational near the Ballabeg tram crossing until 15:30.
