Law enforcement officials are requesting information following an incident in which a man and woman were threatened during an attempted burglary. Police responded to a residence on Trent Lane in Newton Solney, Derbyshire, on November 15, shortly after 21:00 GMT, after two men gained unauthorized entry. Derbyshire Police reported that the suspects were unsuccessful in stealing a vehicle, having demanded its key. They subsequently departed in a compact, dark-hued car, traveling down Trent Lane and onto Main Street. The police service indicated it has since increased its presence and patrols in the vicinity, urging individuals possessing CCTV footage or relevant details to come forward. Descriptions of both individuals include them being approximately 6ft (2m) tall, white, wearing dark attire, and having their faces concealed. Law enforcement personnel reached the location after the suspects had departed the residence and obtained “vital evidence,” police further stated.
