Kent Police has announced the recovery of two horses that were stolen from stables located in Hartley, near New Ash Green. The theft occurred between November 21 and 22, when perpetrators damaged fencing and guided the animals through a field onto Ash Road. After issuing an appeal, law enforcement officers “followed several lines of enquiry to establish the animals’ whereabouts,” according to police statements. A four-year-old horse, characterized by its brown coat, white feet, and a white stripe on its nose, is still missing, and authorities continue to solicit information from the public. Police stated, “Investigating officers have located and recovered two of three horses which had been stolen from stables in Hartley near New Ash Green.” On Monday, December 2, patrols responded to a site off Shamrock Road in Gravesend, where two white horses were secured and successfully returned to their legitimate owner.
