Reader Submissions: The Season’s First Snowfall

Residents across north-east England and Cumbria experienced cold conditions during November as snow descended upon the area. While the meteorological calendar designates winter’s commencement as 1 December and its conclusion as the final day of February, snow and other wintry precipitation are not uncommon occurrences for the latter part of November. Over the past few weeks, our network of Weather Watchers has contributed photographs captured amidst the colder weather. Information on how to participate in Weather Watchers is accessible here.
