Train operations connecting Shrewsbury and Birmingham International stations have been restored after a week-long period of interruptions. Transport for Wales had ceased its services at Wolverhampton between Saturday, November 16, and Friday, November 22, citing a shortage of trains, the company stated. The company further stated, “Our fleet engineers have been working round the clock to rectify the problems, and we are pleased to say the situation has improved this week.” The interruption to services drew criticism from Shaun Davies, a Labour representative for Telford, who labeled it as “unacceptable.”
